The popularity of glass blocks is the consequence of their aesthetic advantages and the possibility to use them as additional illumination source in rooms. Walls made of glass blocks blend in well with furniture both in living rooms, sleeping rooms, bathrooms, halls and outdoors (small door windows, wind lobbies, glass block windows, etc).

Glass blocks are illuminated in five colors (white, yellow, blue, red, green) what in case of colored blocks makes it possible to obtain various lighting effects and in case of colorless or satin glass blocks you can simultaneously enjoy both the natural glass blocks and those illuminated in any color.

Luminous glass blocks are manufactured in LED technology, supplied with 12 V DC, what guarantees durability and energy saving. The minimal longevity of a LED diode is 100 000 hours; i.e. if they are used 10 hours a day they can enjoy your eyes for 30 years and more. LED diodes are semiconductor components, directly transforming electric energy into luminous radiation in the process of co called radiating recombination. The effectiveness of this transformation is very high and amounts almost to 100%. This is why energy-efficiency of this technology is very high and operating costs of this solution are far lower then those of traditional sources of energy. The implemented technical solution permits the system to work within the temperature range from -35oC to +60 oC; i.e. there are no restrictions in using it outdoors.

Connection of luminous glass blocks is very easy and everybody can carry it out. After completion of every layer of the constructed wall you have to connect the supply cables with connectors according to instructions included in the manual attached to the product along with the set of fully humidity resistant connectors.
